Wish List and Donation Dropoffs

At St. Francis House, we try to meet all of our guests' needs as they move toward healthy, satisfying lives independent of shelters and institutions. Below is a list of the practical items that will help our guests along their journey. The needs change frequently, so check back often. Please note that we cannot accept donations for children.  All clothing should be in season, washed, and ready to wear. No used underwear or socks. We deeply appreciate your help and compassion.

Donations are accepted Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please pull up in front of St. Francis House and turn on your hazard lights.  A staff member will assist you in unloading your vehicle.  For directions, click here. Residential pickup can only be arranged for large donations – i.e., 15 or more 30-pound bags.  

Women’s Clothing:

• New underwear – all sizes
• New bras – all sizes 
• New socks – all sizes

Men’s Clothing:

• New underwear (briefs) – size S, M, L,
  XL, and XXL
• New socks
• New and gently used footwear – all sizes
• Men’s shorts – all sizes 
• Men’s jeans – sizes 28-38
• T-shirts – size L, XL, XXL, and 3X
• Casual short-sleeve shirts – size L, XL, XXL, and 3X
• Belts – all sizes

Personal Items:

• Travel-size deodorants
• Travel-size soaps
• Backpacks/book bags
• Daily planners and blank journals
• Wallets

Household Items:

• Pillowcases
• Sheets, blankets, and comforters in twin, full, and queen size
• Curtains for the kitchen, living room, and bedroom
• Dinner plates, glasses, and bowls (cereal, soup, and serving)
• Silverware and kitchen utensils
• Pots and pans of all sizes
• Bath towels and dish towels
• Coffeemakers, toasters, and toaster ovens
• Radios, clock radios, and alarm clocks
• New irons (with auto shut-off)
• Baking pans and cookie sheets

Arts/Crafts Items:

• Good-quality paint brushes
• Yarn
• Oil and acrylic paints
• Canvases and frames

Other Items:

• Movies (for the Day Center)
• Puzzles
• Board games, such as chess, checkers, backgammon,
  dominos, Scrabble, or Bingo
