Daytime Shelter and Showers

Our Atrium and Day Center provide safe, protected spaces in which to sit when the weather is too hot or too cold, or when our guests have nowhere else to go.  The Day Center features telephones and computers with internet access, vital tools for keeping in touch with loved ones and job-hunting, as well as a television on which to watch the local news or a movie chosen by one of our discussion groups. 

The Day Center also serves as a portal to other basic and rehabilitative services. Here, guests can sign up for a shower and receive fresh toiletries at our hospitality desk, connect with a St. Francis House case manager or sign up for a counseling appointment, and get information about our available programs and services, as well as outside referrals.
